Jeff smiled as he ate. He had a plan to call Sammy to look both the boys over before they left in the morning, just to be sure Adam was in good enough condition to go out. He thought having her look Jay over too would be a good idea, it was about treating the boys as equals.

Jay smiled as he ate his food, Adam smiled shyly at Jeff and Jay as he ate as well.

Jeff smiled and put his plate in the sink when he finished. "I need to make a phone call boys, you two think you can handle the dishes for me?"

Jeff smiled. "Thank you boys," Jeff said, placing a kiss ontop both their heads as he passed.

Jay smiled before leading Adam to the sink where Jay washed the dishes and Adam dried them.

Jeff made the necessary phone calls to order Adam's collar and to call Sammy about coming in to look at the boys the next morning before he sprawled out on his bed and started to draw.

When Jay and Adam were done with the dishes they went back to their books on the couch.

Jeff laid in bed working on his drawing for a while when he glanced at the clock. It was getting late. "Boys," Jeff called from his spot on the bed.

"Yes?" answered Jay as he and Adam appeared in the doorway.

"It's getting late and we have an early morning tomorrow, I think it's time we call it a night," said Jeff. He paused for a moment. "Adam, You come sit down here with me, Jay I want you to go find that cold medicine we bought last time you got sick."

Jay nodded and hurried to the bathroom, Adam sat down next to Jeff.

Adam closed his eyes and leaned into Jeff's touch, Jay returned a few mintes later with the medicine.

Jeff opened the medicine bottle with a loud snap. "Okay baby doll, let's get some of this in you so you can rest."

Adam nodded as he watched Jeff pour some of the medicine in to a medicine cup.

Jeff poured the medicine before snapping the cap back on it. "Alright darlin' open up."

Adam wrinkled his nose slightly at the medicine but he opened his mouth.

Jeff chuckled. "I know baby, I know," Jeff said as he gave Adam the medicine, making sure he got it all down.

Jeff smiled and placed a gentle kiss on Adam's still slightly warm forehead. "You get some rest baby, you need it.
