Jeff smiled. "You can go watch TV if you want," Jeff said, going over to run a fresh tub of water. "Jay-Jay," Jeff called.

Adam nodded as he went into the living room, Jay hurried into the bathroom "Yes?"

Jeff smiled. He stood up and wrapped an arm around Jay's waist. "My beautiful Blue Jay," Jeff murmured.

"How bad is he?" Jay asked softly as he bit his lip.

"He's covered in bruises, scratches, scars etcetera," said Jeff. "He's skittish, nervous, he's probably been taught to expect me to hurt him," he continued. "It's a mercy he was even dressed when I found him, you weren't."
