Matt woke up at the first flash on lighting and whimpered softly.

Jeff quickly moved to Matt's room. "Mattie?" Jeff asked gently. He knew Matt hated storms. "You okay baby?"

Matt just whimpered again as more lightly flashed.

Jeff walked over to the bed and pulled Matt into his arms. "Shhhhhh," Jeff murmured. "You wanna come stay in my room tonight?"

Matt nodded slowly as he curled close to Jeff.

Jeff nodded, carrying Matt to his room. He couldn't count the number of times he'd woken up in the middle of the night to find Matt curled up next to him. "Storm Jeffy...." Matt would whimper, and Jeff would simply nod and hold his brother though the night. He smiled at the memories as he sat down on his bed. "There, I'm here baby, I've got you."
