Cora bit her lip. If she started crying, Rafe would know it, and she didn't want that. Leo smiled as the two walked in.

"Rafe's just trying to help Cora," said Leo. Cora chewed on her lip for a moment, before breaking free from her father's grasp out of pure adrenaline and making a run for it.

Phil slowly managed to open his eyes and look at John.
Mark grabbed Cora.

John gently pulled Phil close to him. "You okay baby?" Cora squirmed, kicking and screaming. "No! Lemme go!"

Phil sighed. "I've got to be there for her, i'm fine."
"I'm your pack leader and i wasn't yelling." Mark said with a calm voice.

"I know you wanna be there for her baby, but you'll be no good to her if you're sick too," said John. "Wanna go home...." whined Cora. "Want..." she stopped. She wanted to say she wanted Rafe, but who would believe she'd found her mate so young?
