"It's just a small fever," said Samantha, not even barely over 100." Jeff nodded, watching the brunette begin to take Adam's blood pressure, for records sake.

Adam sat still for her while she did this, Jay smiled at Adam.

Samantha smiled at Adam. "Y'know, Jay didn't handle this as well as you are," she said. Jeff chuckled and nodded. "Took me an hour just to get him to even let Sammy near him, you remember Jay-Jay?"

Jay blushed "I was scared plus my last encounter with a doctor didn't end well."

Jeff smiled. "I know darlin, I know," Jeff said gently, watching the newest reading being recorded. "slightly elevated, but probably due to stress," said Samantha.

Jay laid his head on Jeff's shoudler, Adam looked at the floor.

Jeff stroked Jay's hair with one hand, rubbing Adam's shoulder with the other.

Samantha went over to her bag and grabbed a tongue depressor her light before walking back to Adam " Alright Adam, let's take a look."

Adam nodded and opened his mouth wide for her, softly saying "Ahhhhh."

Samantha examined him carefully, before disposing of the wooden stick. "There seems to be a slight bit of swelling, but not much."

Jeff smiled as Samantha put a new cover on the thermometer. "Okay you squirmy worm, hold still," joked Jeff.
