Jeff watched as Shawn got the bottle of gel. "Okay Adam this is probably gonna be real cold," said Shawn.

Adam nodded before shivering as the cold gel touched his skin.

Jeff adjusted his grip on Adam's hand as Shawn started.

Adam winced slightly as Shawn pressed the senser to his skin skin.

Jeff continued stroking Adam's hair with his free hand as Shawn worked. "You're doing great Addy," Jeff murmured.

Adam whimpered softly as he waited for Shawn to finish.

"I know baby I know," Jeff said softly., looking up when he heard Shawn sigh. "I'll send Sammy in to run the IV while I call OR, we need to get that out."

Jeff watched as Samantha prepped for the IV, he didn't know how well Adam did or didn't handle needles.

Adam took a deep breath as Sammy gently took his arm and started to put the IV in.
